Hi, my name is Jennifer Buchanan and I am the Reading Specialist here at Stetson Hills School. 

I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself.  I grew up in Phoenix Arizona and attended school here from first grade through college. I received my BA in Elementary Education from ASU.  I then attended NAU and earned my MA in Elementary Education.  I have endorsements in Reading, Early Childhood and Structured English Emersion.  I value education and continue to take classes and attend workshops whenever I can.   

I absolutely love teaching children and helping them to become proficient readers.  I strive to make reading stimulating and exciting for the children I work with.  I also try to help children build the self-confidence needed to be successful learners.
